The following events have been designated as “Special Entertainment Events” under the Wellington City Council’s District Plan rules. Noise limits for stadium general activities (these are the same limits as apply in the City Central Area) may accordingly be exceeded on each of these two days.
Event: Foo Fighters concert (music event)
Friday 26 January 2024 – Rehearsal day
Between 9.00 am to 10.00 pm, but not exceeding 11 hours in any day
Saturday 27 January 2024 – Concert day
Gates open: 4.00 pm
Concert start: 5.00 pm
Concert finish: 10.45 pm
Sound testing may occur on each of the days noted above. All times are approximate and subject to change.
